Q: What is CryoDetail® / CryoDetailing®?
Answer: CryoDetail® & CryoDetailing® are service marks for our unique dry ice blasting and preservation service. This process of dry ice blasting is the safest and only EPA approved method for industrial cleaning. Here at CryoDetail®, our service utilizes dry ice for cleaning. Dry ice is a solid form of C02 gas, a natural gas found in our environment. The cold temperature of dry ice is near 110F below zero, basically deep freezes the debris and is “blasted” off by the intense air pressure and dry ice pellets. Our results speak for themselves!
Q: How long does it take CryoDetail® to complete a vehicle?
Answer: The average time varies depending on the condition of the vehicle and the amount of ice that will need to be used. Some vehicles take more time than others. We always request to see the vehicle in person or a set of photos sent in to provide a rough estimate on time and cost.
Q: Can I drop a vehicle off anytime to have this done?
Answer: We do request an appointment to be made so we can arrange to have your vehicle prepared before it can be cleaned.
Q: Will CryoDetail® harm anything on my vehicle?
Answer: No. Our technicians have countless hours of training and know how to handle all types of components during the process. Dry ice is a solid state form of C02 (carbon dioxide), when the ice makes contact with the surface it is cleaning it freezes the grime and the blast of air simply removes the frozen grime with the dry ice dissipating into C02 and leaving only the dirt to be swept from the floor. No harmful chemicals or degreasers needed. No water needed to be sprayed either! It is completely safe on all rubber, metal and electrical components.
Q: What is the cost of the services at CryoDetail®?
Answer: The costs vary depending on the current condition of the vehicle and what can be cleaned. If the vehicle cannot be taken to our facility for an estimation, simply send us an email with the vehicle information and some detailed photos of the undercarriage so we can provide a rough quote for the service.
Q: Is CryoDetail® a mobile service? Can you come to my home or vehicle location?
Answer: All vehicles must be brought to our location to have the services performed by CryoDetail®.
Q: Are there any other CryoDetail® stations besides your Florida location? Do you have authorized individuals that can CryoDetail® my vehicle without taking it to your location?
Answer: At this moment, no. CryoDetail® headquarters is located in Coral Springs, Florida and is the only dry ice cleaning and preservation center we currently have and we do require that the vehicles come to us for our services. Be careful of others who claim they can perform this service as they may not be trained properly with the equipment or have the knowledge to know what areas of a vehicle to touch and to leave in-tact. We are the original CryoDetail® and have been providing this service since 2008.

Q: What will CryoDetail® NOT remove from my vehicle?
Answer: The process will remove almost any cosmoline, waxes, grease, oil, road debris from a vehicles undercarriage. It will NOT remove rust that has already started. It will clean light surface rust. This process will also NOT remove paint from a vehicle.
