What is CryoDetail® / CryoDetailing®?
CryoDetail® & CryoDetailing® are service marks for our unique dry ice blasting and preservation service. This process of dry ice blasting is the safest and only EPA approved method for industrial cleaning. Here at CryoDetail®, our service utilizes dry ice for cleaning. Dry ice is a solid form of C02 gas, a natural gas found in our environment. The cold temperature of dry ice is near 110F below zero, basically deep freezes the debris and is “blasted” off by the intense air pressure and dry ice pellets. Our results speak for themselves!
Will CryoDetail® harm anything on my vehicle?
No, dry ice blasting will not harm any components. Our technicians are highly trained and experienced in handling a wide range of components during the cleaning process. Dry ice, which is the solid form of CO₂ (carbon dioxide), sublimates upon impact with surfaces. This process involves freezing the grime, which then becomes brittle and is easily dislodged by the force of the air blast. The dry ice pellets convert directly to gas, leaving no residue behind, and the dislodged contaminants can simply be swept away. This method uses no harmful chemicals, degreasers, or water, ensuring a safe and eco-friendly cleaning process. It is completely safe for all rubber, metal, and electrical components.
What will CryoDetail® NOT remove from my vehicle?
The process will remove almost any cosmoline, waxes, grease, oil, road debris from a vehicles undercarriage. It will NOT remove rust that has already started. It will clean light surface rust. This process will also NOT remove paint from a vehicle.
How long does it take CryoDetail® to complete a vehicle?
The average time varies depending on the condition of the vehicle and the amount of ice that will need to be used. Some vehicles take more time than others. We always request to see the vehicle in person or a set of photos sent in to provide a rough estimate on time and cost.
What is the cost of the services at CryoDetail®?
The costs vary depending on the current condition of the vehicle and what can be cleaned. If the vehicle cannot be taken to our facility for an estimation, simply send us an email with the vehicle information and some detailed photos of the undercarriage so we can provide a rough quote for the service.
Can I drop a vehicle off anytime to have this done?
We do request an appointment to be made so we can arrange to have your vehicle prepared before it can be cleaned.
Where can CryoDetail® services be performed?
At this moment, CryoDetail® services are exclusively available at our headquarters in Coral Springs, Florida. We require that vehicles be brought to our location to ensure the highest quality service. Be cautious of others who claim to offer similar services, as they may not possess the proper training or expertise with the equipment, nor the knowledge to handle specific areas of a vehicle correctly. We are the original CryoDetail® and have been providing this specialized service since 2008.
